Resilience Camp
ALPS Resilience Camp
Our Primary 5 students participated in the 3D2N ALPS Resilience Camp from 11–13 February 2026 at Camp Christine. The camp was thoughtfully designed to provide authentic learning experiences that nurture resilience, adaptability, and personal growth beyond the classroom setting.
Living away from their parents for three days and two nights, students learned to be independent and take greater responsibility for themselves. They managed their personal belongings, adhered to routines, maintained dormitory cleanliness, and ensured their own well-being. At the same time, they learned to look out for one another — offering encouragement, resolving differences respectfully, and working collaboratively as a team. These shared experiences strengthened their sense of empathy, accountability, and mutual support.
Key highlights of the camp included an energetic campfire night that fostered camaraderie and school spirit, an exhilarating rock-climbing session at Climb Central SAFRA Choa Chu Kang, and an engaging orienteering challenge at Jurong Lake Gardens. Through these activities, students stepped out of their comfort zones, overcame challenges, and persevered in the face of uncertainty.
The ALPS Resilience Camp provided a valuable platform for students to develop confidence, independence, teamwork, and resilience — dispositions that will continue to support them in their learning journey and personal development.
