This year’s P1–P6 Sports Meet was a vibrant celebration of active living, resilience, and school spirit. Held across two exciting segments, the event brought together students, staff, and parents in a shared experience that promoted teamwork, perseverance, and the joy of healthy participation.

Our P1–P3 students enthusiastically took part in a series of fun and engaging relay races, demonstrating determination, cooperation, and respect through sportsmanship. The enthusiastic support of our Primary 1 parents from the sidelines added to the lively atmosphere and reflected the strong partnership between home and school in nurturing our students’ growth.

For the P4–P6 segment, students competed in spirited inter-class tournaments featuring Handball, Captainball, and Powerball. Through every match, students displayed resilience in the face of challenges, worked collaboratively towards common goals, and upheld fairness and respect for one another. The vibrant display of student-designed class flags during the prize presentation further showcased their creativity, class pride, and sense of belonging.

Beyond the competitions, the Sports Meet reinforced the importance of leading an active and healthy lifestyle while cultivating values that extend beyond the playing field. In support of Drug Victim Remembrance Day, students also participated in a meaningful anti-drug education segment, deepening their understanding of making responsible choices and strengthening our school's commitment to holistic character development.

P5 China Overseas Immersion Programme

A group of 24 Primary 5 students embarked on an enriching Overseas Immersion Programme to Suzhou and Shanghai, China. Through meaningful interactions with students from Wencui Primary School , they developed greater cultural awareness and sensitivity while forging lasting friendships. The programme also strengthened camaraderie among our Alexandrians as they shared memorable learning experiences together.

Beyond the classroom, students deepened their appreciation of China's rich history and culture and gained valuable insights into the nation's remarkable technological advancements, broadening their global perspectives and enhancing their 21st Century Competencies.

P1 Pet Pals 2026

As part of our Primary 1 English Language lessons and to support the STELLAR unit Dan’s Lost Hat, which features a pet cat, our parent volunteers who are pet owners themselves conducted a sharing session for our Primary 1 students on 8 May.

During the session, students were introduced to a variety of pets through pictures, videos, and the observation of a live fish. They learnt about the characteristics and care needs of different pets, while gaining a greater appreciation of the responsibilities involved in being a pet owner.

The session enriched students’ vocabulary and provided ideas for their English writing task on their favourite animal. It also reinforced the importance of being kind and responsible towards animals.

We would like to thank our parent volunteers for making the learning experience meaningful and engaging for our students.

P5 Vietnam Overseas Immersion Programme

Our Primary 5 students embarked on an enriching Overseas Immersion Programme to Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), Vietnam, where they gained a deeper understanding of Vietnam's history and culture while appreciating Singapore's place in the global community. 

Through meaningful interactions with local students and community partners, they practised cultural sensitivity, built lasting friendships, strengthened bonds with their school mates, and demonstrated a spirit of service by making positive contributions to the local community.

P2 Drama Performances 2026

Our Primary 2 students lit up the stage with their engaging drama performances at the school hall on 30 April 2026. Through stories centred on the theme “Self as a Social Being”, they confidently brought their learning to life through acting, movement, and expressive speaking.

The performances showcased students’ enthusiasm, hard work and learning through the PLAY Integrated Curriculum — Performing and Living the drama, developing Awareness and Appreciation of key story moments, and Understanding Yourself. Through these experiences, students learnt to speak with confidence, work well with others, understand different feelings and viewpoints, and appreciate the diverse people and experiences around them.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all parents, guardians, teachers, instructors, and parent volunteers for their support in making the two performance sessions a memorable and meaningful experience for our students.

Hari Raya Puasa 2026

•To celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri through a series of engaging activities that provide meaningful opportunities for students to learn about its traditions and customs.

•To deepen students’ understanding of Malay heritage and the cultural practices associated with Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

Math, Science & Environmental Education Week 2026

The Math, Science and Environmental Education Week launched with an assembly skit on environmental impact, inspiring Primary 1 to Primary 6 students to become "Town Advisors" for the Greenhaven simulation. This programme fosters critical and inventive thinking by immersing students in real-world scenarios where they move beyond simple habits to embrace adaptive thinking.

Lower Primary students applied responsible decision-making to waste management, while Middle Primary levels used analytical reasoning to balance biodiversity and energy needs. Upper Primary students engaged in collaborative problem-solving, managing budgets and scientific strategies to stabilise water resources and cool the town.

By navigating these challenges, students develop the global awareness and resilience needed to become active contributors who understand that true sustainability is about making balanced choices today to protect our collective future.
